Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market
Survey is a weekly average of mortgage rates from 125 leading U.S. lenders
including thrifts, commercial banks and mortgage
lending companies.
Bankrate.com surveys approximately 4,800
financial institutions in all 50 states continuously to compile their mortgage
rate information. They also provide free interest rate information on over
300 financial products.
